Earl Junior Grubbs, 64, of Campbell died Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Malden Speedway. He retired from Noranda Aluminum on March 31, 2008, and was of the Baptist faith.

Born March 31, 1946, in Waverly, Tenn., he was the son of the late Eugene Hampton, Paul Hampton, and Katherine (Smith) Hampton. On Jan. 11, 1966, in Malden, he was united in marriage to the former Barbara Jean Houchins, who survives of the home in Campbell.

Other survivors include, two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheri and Jeff Wells of Bella Vista, Ark., and Pam and Steve Skinner of Malden; two grandsons, Chase wells of Bella Vista and Josh of Malden; six brothers, Ronnie Hampton and Ricky Hampton, both of Sikeston, and Stanley Hampton, Aubrey Hampton, William Hampton and Mike Hampton, all of Malden; eight sisters, Lucille Malone of Cookeville, Tenn., Georgie Polland of McEwen, Tenn., Reba Hampton of Poplar Bluff; Diane Hampton and Linda Hampton, both of Sayre, Okla., Vicki Northern and Joyce Neuhalfen, both of Sikeston, and Sharon Bailey of Oran; one stepbrother, Anderson Wheeler of McEwen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Wheeler and Charles Hampton; and one sister, Mary Sue Robinson.

Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 3, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery at Campbell. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
