Mable J. Wilhite, 83, of Holcomb, Mo., died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at her residence.
Born March 13, 1927, in Brockett, Ark., daughter of the late Claud R. and Kay Spikes Kenner, she was a night club owner and a member of the Church of Christ in Holcomb.
Survivors include one son, Vince Blane Wilhite; one grandson, Hamilton Hilfiker, of Carol, Ill.; one nephew, Mark Kenner, of White Oak, Mo., and two nieces, Rhonda Gale Kenner, of Jackson, Mo., and Bethany Mashburn, of Senath, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mona Wilhite Hilfiker; two brothers, Tommy Gale and Rip Kenner, and one sister, Susie Mashburn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, July 20, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Charles Crawford officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brockett Cemetery at Pocahontas, Ark.
Pallbearers were Joe Keene, Dale Beaty, Johnny "Chico" Alsup, Rance Rainey, Bob Privett and Mike Murdock.
Honorary pallbearers were Cord Sutfin, Strawberry Holsten, Bob Dement, Jerry McCormick, Richard Todd, Dennis James, Terry Ray Bradley and Billy Springer.
