Robelene Bradsher Webb Thorne, 95, of Kennett, formerly of Marmaduke, Ark., went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.
Mrs. Thorne was born on June 24, 1915, in Marmaduke, to the late Dr. R.E. and Mattie Clements Bradsher. She was a member of the Marmaduke Methodist Church, a public school teacher and a school administrator for many years. She was devoted to Marmaduke and all of her students.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husbands, Fred Leon Webb in 1937 and Woodrow Thorne in 1984 and other relatives.
Survivors are her loving daughter and husband, Freddie Graham and Woody Eller, of Kennet; step-daughter, Sandra Roberts, of St. Charles, Mo.: special nephew, Dr. O. E. Bradsher, of Senath, Mo.; a special niece, Lucie Smith, of Naples, Fla.; several loving grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 18, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.
Burial will follow in the Harvey's Chapel Cemetery at Marmaduke.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke.
