On Oct. 15, 1955, in Hernando, Miss., he married Freda Creasy.
He was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church in Holland, Mo., served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a Staff Sgt., and was a heavy equipment operator. Robert had a great love for the outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Freda Pritchett, of Rives; three sons, Robin Pritchett and wife, Cathy, of Rives, Mark Pritchett and wife, Deborah, of Ellisnore, Mo., and Ronnie Pritchett and wife, Susan, of Mill Springs, Mo.; two brothers, Sam Pritchett, of Dexter, Mo., and Junior Pritchett, of Rives; seven grandchildren, Crystal Stockton, Robin Pritchett Jr., Jessica Flanagan, Brandy Amanda Pritchett, Jamie Cicile Pritchett, Lilly Louise Pritchett, and Gabriel Cooper, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marty Eugene Pritchett; three brothers, Jess, Herman and James Pritchett; four sisters, Gladys Russell, Pauline Gaskin, Atta Bell Bray and Virginia Rose Pritchett, and one great-grandson, Landon Pritchett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo., with Bro. Cecil Riley officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Atchison, Jeremy Darnall, Bud Greenfield, Dick Covington, Danny Davis and Danny Bray.
Honorary pallbearers were Willie Williams and Tom Jones.
