Virgil Dewayne Foster, 68, of Kennett, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at his residence.
Born April 6, 1942, in Broseley, Mo., son of the late Charley Peyton Foster and Gladys Loreda Hayes Foster, he was self-employed in the construction business and was a member of the Eagles in Kennett.
He married Judith Kathleen Lucas.
Survivors include three sons, Virgil Dewayne Foster, Jr., of Griffith, Ind., Douglass Charlie Foster, of Kennett, and Robert Andrew Foster, of Branson, Fla.; three brothers, Kenneth Pharris Foster, of Dover, Fla., Ralph Vernon Foster, of Highland, Ind., and Lyman Earl Foster, of Portage, Ind.; two sisters, Charlene Hazel Wayman, and Loreda Diann Slicer, both of Kennett; 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Dewayne Foster; one brother, Archie Lee Foster, and one sister, Wilma Dean Anton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery at St. Francis, Ark.
