Charles Delon Galbraith, 70, of Kennett, formerly of Denton, Mo., died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Dec. 8, 1939, son of the late Otis and Alma Mildred Johnson Galbraith, he was a factory worker for Nibco of Blytheville, Ark.
On Nov. 24, 1994, in Malden, Mo., he married Elizabeth Carnell.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Galbraith, of Kennett; three sons, Charles Galbraith and wife, Pat, of Qulin, Mo., and Jeff Galbraith and wife, Sonia and Mark Galbraith and wife, Tracy, all of Wappapello, Mo.; two daughters, Lorrie Jean Galbraith, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Kayla Korte, of Portageville, Mo.; three step-sons, Steve Smith and wife, Anita, Roger Smith and wife, Teresa, and Brandon Smith and wife, Kristi, all of Kennett; one step-daughter, Lisa Jones and husband, Donald, of Kennett; two brothers, Bob Galbraith and wife, Teresa, of Florida, and David Galbraith and wife, Carol, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Mitchell, of Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister, and one step-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, June 15, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 16, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Carnell and Tony Carnell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Tony Newson, Brent Galbraith, Johnny Galbraith, Blake McCormick, Big Jackie Mosier, Dennis Hudson, Lil Raymond Crawford Jr., and Hubert Galbraith.
Honorary pallbearers are Joel Montgomery, Roger Smith, Brandon Smith, Donald Jones and Steve Smith.
