Born April 9, 1932, in Portageville, Mo., son of the late Carroll Moylan and Lonnie Ellis Moylan, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War, a retired branch manager for the Clarkton MFA Oil Company, and a member of the Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On Dec. 1, 1956, in Gideon, Mo., he married Mary Lou Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Taylor Moylan, of Clarkton; one son, Kevin Moylan and wife, Vicki; one daughter, Kristen Barnes and husband, Richard; three granddaughters, Alison Barnes, Keythlea Horton and Rachel Clemons; three great-grandchildren, Kaya Horton, Lyndee Horton and Noah Clemons, and two sisters, Vera Winklepleck and Evelyn Wages and husband, Bill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Glen, J.T., and Burl Moylan, and three sisters, Pearl Ellsworth, Glenda Cox, and Rachel Rhoem.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 25, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 26, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Orr officiating.
Burial with full military honors was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
