Mary Louisa Vangilder, 94, of Rector, Ark., died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Dec. 15, 1915, in Hopewell, she was a homemaker, and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Vangilder, of Pine Bluff, Ark., and William Vangilder, of Altheimer, Ark.; two daughters, Betty Kirklin, of Kennett and Wanda Crooks, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one sister, Lillie Rhynes, of St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Vangilder; her parents, William and Eunice Thomas; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 31, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Don Morris officiating.
Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Vangilder, Douglas Vangilder, Gary Van-gilder, Keith Vangilder, Marty Kirklin, Tod Girtman, and Ross Girtman.
