Bobby Dean Cole, 28, of Kennett, formerly of Joplin and Neosha, Mo., died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 15, 1982, in Columbus, Kan., son of Robert "Bob" Toney and Donna Roberts, he received a gold medal in Special Olympics every year, worked at the Sheltered Workshop, and enjoyed fishing, bowling, video games and swimming. He attended Oneness Pentecostal Church of Tallapoosa.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Donna and Orville Roberts, of Gideon, Mo.; his father, Robert "Bob" Toney, of Kansas; two brothers, Fletcher Tuck and wife, Kerri, of Kennett, and Shawn Cole, of Florida; two sisters, Barbara Emmons and husband, Terry, of Neosha, and Hannah Atkinson and husband, Wes, of Campbell, Mo.; a step-brother, Jim Roberts, of Jonesboro, Ark.; grandmother, Pearl Davis, of Campbell; grandfather, Leslie Cole, of Joplin; three aunts, Linda Toney, Brenda Huckel-berry and Karen Provance, and three uncles, Bobby Davis, Paul Davis and Vernon Davis.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 31, at Oneness Pentecostal Church in Tallapoosa with Rev. James White officiating.
Burial was in the Brown Chapel Cemetery.
