Patricia "Patty" Ann Breedon, 72, of Holcomb died Friday, May 21, 2010, at her residence. She was a former secretary for Gideon Anderson, was employed at the Holcomb R-III School District and was a member of the Holcomb United Methodist Church.

Born in Gideon on Dec. 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cline and Loleda (McDaniel) Allen. On Oct. 8, 1966, in Gideon, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Autry Breedon, who survives of the home in Holcomb.

Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Krysty and Brian Holt of Benton; one granddaughter, Allison Holt of Benton; one sister, Jo Ann Reesha of Kennett; one brother, Terry Allen of Piggott, Ark.; two half-sisters, Laura Holloway and Gwen Spear, both of Lilbourn; and one half-brother, Mitch Allen of Lilbourn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Grove and Leah McDaniel.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 22, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 23, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating. Interment was in Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Lanny Watson, Brad Robinson, Louis Scroggins, Larry Petty, Bob Young and Roger Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Granger, Brady Robinson, Everett Delaney, Don Watson, Carl Williams, Jackie Callis, Bob Dement and Bob Holder.

The family suggest memorials may be made to VNA Hospice and American Cancer Society.
