Tri-Country All-Conference teams released

After completing the 2010 baseball season, the Tri-County announced their selections for this year's all-conference teams, player of the year, and coaches of the year. One of the conference teams, Cooter, is still in post season play as they will take on Chaffee in the sectionals round of the Class 1 tournament today at 4 p.m.

Cooter senior Seth Childers was named conference player of the year. Brandon Blankenship (Risco) and Alan Crawford (Cooter) were named co-coaches of the year in the conference.

This year's first team consist of Seth Childers (Cooter), Joe Campbell (Campbell), Brandon Bennett (Risco), Jordan Anderson (Cooter), Ross Carter (Risco), David McDaniel (Holcomb), Shane McElwrath (Holcomb) and Zach Jackson (Campbell).

The conference's second team for the 2010 season include Logan Edwards (Cooter), Jonathon Boone (Cooter), Mason Priddy (Delta C-7), Logan Blackburn (Clarkton), Chris Pavy (Risco) Cody Graves (Gideon), Zach Williams (Risco), Dylan McCormick (Holcomb) and Kelton Wilson (Southland).

The following player were named to the conference's honorable mention list: Jordan Osborn (Holcomb), Blake Jameson (Southland), Damon Cornett (Gideon), Wes Blankenship (Delta C-7) and Eric Holloway (Campbell)

The Daily Dunklin Democrat would like to congratulate all these young men and their coaches on receiving these honors and on having great season.
