Seth Howell, 78, of Holcomb, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born July 19, 1931, in Arkansas, son of the late Howard Houston and Susie V. Mitchell Howell, he was a tool and dye marker for Darling Store Fixtures in Paragould, Ark., and a member of Stanfield Baptist Church in Clarkton, Mo.
He married Mary Sue Weaver in Paragould.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Howell, of Holcomb; four daughters, Sherry Amonds, Linda Martin and husband, Jake, and Dawn Davis and husband, Troy, all of Mountain Home, Ark., and Monica Davis and husband, Roger, of Wappapello, Mo.; special friends, Kimberly and Tim of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Rayfield and husband, Johnney, of Nixa, Mo., and Bonnie Boyce, of Pascagoula, Miss.; six grandchildren, Summer Sanders, and Chris Stone, both of Kennett, Mia Boren, of Piggott, Ark., Karie and Steven Cemosek, of Rosenburg, Texas, and Tisha Smith, and Reed Davis, both of Mountain Home, and five great-grandchildren, Meghan, Dillon, Jayden, Marleigh and Justice.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters, and a granddaughter, Shana Deniston.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, May 20, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 21, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
