Clair W. Bullard, 74, of Malden died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Army from June 7, 1955, to March 21, 1957. He was an electrician at Noranda.

Born in Hartford, Mich., on May 27, 1935, he was the son of the late Bruce Wesley and Belva (Burr) Bullard. On April 2, 1960, in New Madrid, he married Mary Carlene Bullard, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Terry Minderman and wife, Lisa, of Malden and Chris Minderman of Warrenton; one daughter, Regina Bullard of Bernie; four grandchildren, Nicholas Minderman, Dana Moore, Brandon Cash and St. Sgt. Lance Wesley Minderman, US Air Force; five great-grandchildren, Bailey Jane Minderman, Madeline Moore, Brayden Moore, Charlotte Grace Minderman and Alexis Cash; two brothers, Kirk Roraback of Alabama, and Louie Fischer of Michigan; and one sister-in-law, Carla Phillips of Portageville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kern Fischer.

Visitation was held Friday, May 14, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Memorial services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Martin Goode officiating. Interment was in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.

I just wanted to add, or correct... he was survived by one daughter and two "step" sons. This obit was never correct. He was a Master Electrician and worked in maintenance at Noranda.
