Lois Lorraine Clement, 90, of Kirkwood, Mo., formerly of rural Bernie, died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Manor Grove Nursing Home in Kirkwood.

She was a retired Malden Elementary School teacher and a member of the Malden United Methodist Church.

Born in Great Falls, Mont., on April 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Victoria (Colby) Moore. On Oct. 7, 1944, in Great Falls, she was united in marriage to John Elton Clement, who preceded her in death on May 30, 2006.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin great-granddaughters, Lexie and Zoe Clement.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Gloria Clement of Manchester, Mo.; two daughters and ason-in-law, Patricia and Ronald Baker of Florissant, and Dr. Kathi Clement of St. James; four grandchildren, Kirk Baker of Morrisville, N.C., Kristina Baker of St. Charles, Ryan Clement and wife, Tricia, of Kansas City, Kan., and Lauren Clement of Liberty, Mo.; one great-grandson, Hudson Clement of Kansas City, Kan., and two sisters, Violet Olson of Choteau, Mont., and Dorothy Payton of Power, Mont.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 13, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating. Interment will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of arrangements.
