Nadine Thomas, daughter of the late Marvin Frank and Ona Daniels Noel, was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Paragould, Ark., and passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at National HealthCare in Kennett, at the age of 81.
On June 21, 1947, in Paragould, she married R.J. Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, R.J. Thomas, of Senath, Mo.; one son, Mike Thomas and wife, Terry, of Senath; one sister, Geraldine N. Walker, of Senath; two grandchildren, David Harden Thomas, of Lititz, Pa., and Tari Shea Wells and husband, Jordan of St. Louis, Mo.; one great-grandson, Reid Michael Wells, and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles David Thomas, and two brothers, Frank "Jack" Noel, Jr., and Dorsey "Dick" Noel.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, April 23, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 24, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers weree Jeff Noel, Alan Richmond, David Thomas, Blake Medley, Jordan Wells, Sean Medley, John Clements and Parker Medley.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack Lincoln, Charles Horner, George Krone, Kenny Johnson, Jodie Harden, Herman Johnson, Bill Marshall, Joy Wayne Holmes, John David Raines and Paul Stout.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the Senath Cemetery.
