Susie Carroll, daughter of the late Alfred Taylor and Alice Bell Middleton, was born May 29, 1919, and passed away Monday, April 26, 2010, in Paragould, Ark., at the age of 90.
On Oct. 19, 1934, in Clifton, Tenn., she married Farris Carroll, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1985. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janette Carroll; a son-in-law, Jimmie Lanman; two brothers; four sisters, and a grandson, Ley Hyde.
Survivors include one son, Harry "Sonny" Carroll and wife, Jill, of Cuba, Mo.; three daughters, Pat Hyde and husband, Dennis, of Paragould, Ark., Terry Sessums and husband, Dennis, of Paragould, and June Lanman, of Paragould; one sister, Nell Fisher, of Michie, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Dawn Lanman, Sherry and Paul Campbell, Megan and Shea Harris, Scott Carroll, and Kelly and Matt Rikard; nine great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will begin at noon, Wednesday, April 28, at Lulu Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, at Lulu Baptist Church with Rev. J.E. Crews officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Steve Odle, Mardon Layne, Scott Carroll, Shea Harris, Howard Hill and Jason Wommack.
Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Layne, Nathan Vaughn, Joe Callahan, Jerry McGrew and Lester Gene Smith.
McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, is in charge of arrangements.
