Alice "Lou" Laverne Collingsworth, 67, of Hornersville, Mo., died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Aug. 16, 1942, in Hornersville, Mo., daughter of the late Fred and Mamie Coker Mansfield, she was a homemaker.
On Aug. 14, 1965, in Kennett, she married Earnest Collingsworth, who preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1990. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dub Mansfield and Junior Mansfield, and one sister, Pat Mansfield.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Wilson (Bruce Roberson), of Caraway, Ark., and Kathy Meyer and husband, Orson, of Hornersville; two sisters, Wanda Maxwell and Brenda Haynes, both of Cardwell, Mo.; two grandchildren, Timothy Dale Wilson, of Hornersville, and Kaitlyn Vowels, of Caraway, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 14, at Silverdale Cemetery with Bro. Vernon Purser officiating.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
