James Audie Grisham, son of the late Rufus Everett Grisham and Lilly Lou McDonald Grisham, was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Saltillo, Miss., and departed this life Monday, April 12, 2010, at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 13 days.
Audie married Ruthie Jewell Raburn on Feb. 2, 1942 in Kennett.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Jewell Grisham, of Bragg City, Mo.; one son, Kenneth Grisham and his wife, Pam, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Andy Grisham, Jamie Grisham, Ashley Grisham, Lori Armes and Christy Nelson; 11 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Josh Hannah and Jamie Grisham officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Joe Small, David Smith, Joe Tidwell, Don Ozbun, Barry "Bear" Palmer and Jerry Williams.
Honorary pallbearers are Jess Small, Robert Sparks, Sonny Winberley, Terry Davis, Billy Wayne Blankenship and Dennis Green.
