Wyman Oneal Potter, 69, of Rector, Ark., formerly of Marmaduke, Ark., passed away at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital.
He was born Aug. 5, 1940 to the late Woody and Virgelene Cupp Potter in Mounds, Ark. He roofed numerous houses in this area for many years.
He is survived by three sons and their spouses, Jamie Potter, of Fort Worth, Texas, Brian and Carmie Potter, of Rector, and Sherrill and Jamie Potter, of Paragould, Ark.; one daughter and her spouse, Becky and Randy Blankenship, of Kennett; four step-sons, Billy Nolen, David Nolen, Larry Nolen and Gary McClard, one step-daughter, Jennie Lawrence; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Potter, Justin Potter, Sarah Potter, Brian Potter, Dustin Patterson, Randy Blankenship, Payton Potter, Carson Potter and Gracie Potter, one great-grandchild, Lynnley Kay Patterson; one brother, Austin Potter, of Kennett; one sister, Darolyn Weatherspoon, of Marmaduke; Gloria Potter, a friend and companion, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, March 26, at Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, at the Irby Funeral Home with Brother Boyce Cate officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery.
