Ora Lee passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 1/2 years, Rev. Garfery Wilson, and two sons, John Eddie and Andre. She is the last decedent of 15 brothers and sisters.

Ora Lee leaves to celebrate her eternal promotion and to cherish her memories 10 children and their spouses: Eunuce Jackson, Kokomo, Ind., Jesse Wilson (Christine), Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond Wilson (Gerri), Malden, Dorothy Armstrong (Booker), Elk Grove, Calif., Glenn Wilson (Bobbie), Kokomo, Ind., Willie Wilson, Sr., Kingsville, Texas, Donald Wilson (Deena), Elk Grove, Calif., John Wilson, Sr., Sacramento, Calif., Duane Wilson (Lillie), Logansport, Ind., and Gloria Wilson, Malden. In-laws include Gladys Walker, Chicago, Ill., Esther Goodman, Malden, Rachel Wilson, Atlanta, Ga., David Wilson (Shirley), Cincinnati, Ohio, Doris Wilson, Kokomo, Ind., Patricia Allen (Lacey), Kennett, Marie Johnson (Jerry), Jonesboro, Ark., Ronnie Wilson (Denise), Pasadena, Calif., Terry Wilson (Neda), Puyallub, Wash., and Grace Wilson, Kokomo, Ind.; 57 grandchildren; more than 100 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ora Lee was strongly grounded in faith and lived a full rich life in the Lord. She touched the lives of many and will be cherished in our hearts forever. Ora Lee's family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during her illness. A very special "thank you" goes out to the Tri-City Hospice team for the care they provided to her.

A visitation was held Friday, March 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Landess Funeral Home, 201 N. Douglas, Malden. Services were held on Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m., at the same location. Interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery.
