Maranda Alvena Williams, 85 of Paragould, Ark., died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Greene Acres Nursing Home.
Alvena was retired from McDonald Douglas in St. Louis, Mo., and was a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Williams; son, Ricky Williams; parents, Charlie and Hazel Buck McCullar; five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Jo and Roger Duty, of Arbyrd, Mo.; sons and daughters-in-law, Glyn Barry and Shirley Sadler, of San Antonio, Texas, and Freddy Hugh and Pamela Williams, of Moscow Mills, Mo.; sisters, Frankie Jean Goldsmith and Janis Kaye Hamm, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 13, at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gerald C. James officiating.
Burial will follow in Lulu Cemetery at Hollywood, Mo.
