Wanda Jean Dozier Wall, 78, of Kennett, died March 9, 2010, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kennett, where she was a long standing member.
Born in Bragg City, Mo., on May 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Olma Dozier, who preceded her in death in June of 1969 (father) and June of 1989 (mother).
Survivors include one daughter, Shellee Wall Essary, and husband, Jeff; two granddaughters, Chandler and Camryn Essary; one sister, Joy Dozier Marshall, and husband, William, all of Kennett. Other family members include two nieces, Mindy Marshall Brown and Beverly Marshall Johnson; three great-nephews; two great-nieces; two great-great nieces and her long time companion of 20 years, Charles Branscum, of Blytheville, Ark.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 11th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 12th, at 10 a.m. in the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Jansson officiating.
Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
