Born April 22, 1933 in Cardwell, he was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Dr. Jackson was a graduate of Cardwell High School, the University of Memphis, and a 1962 graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School. He was a retired fixed prosthodontist, and a member of the Bartlett Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Lambert Jackson, of Bartlett; one daughter, Angie Wilson, of Arlington, Tenn.; one brother, Jackie Dean Jackson, of Jonesboro, Ark.; and two grandsons, Justin and Ryan Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Pearl Jackson, and two brothers, Don Jackson, Jr. and Johney Hugh Jackson.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 4, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 4, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould, with Shawn Bain officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cardwell Cemetery.
