Charlotte Elizabeth Peck, daughter of the late Charles H. Fry and Pearl L. Armson Fry, was born Feb. 18, 1919 in Carrollton, Ill., and departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010 at the age of 91 years and 6 days.
Charlotte married Dr. Chester R. Peck, Jr. on Oct. 18, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo. Chester preceded her in death on April 30, 1975.
Survivors include two sons, Chester "Buddy" Peck III and his wife, Patricia, of Houston, Texas, and Richard Peck and his wife, Rebecca, of Kennett; two daughters, Carol Robison and her husband, John, of Kennett, and Joanne Burton and her husband, Gerald, of Kennett; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Ivery, of St. Louis, Mo., and Janice Stolt, of Elgin, Ill., and other relatives and many many friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by a son, Charles Thomas Peck; a brother, Charles Fry and two sisters, Lydia Wilson and Alice Springer.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.,today, Thursday, Feb. 25, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are David Felker, Jason Lynn, Nick Weatherwax, Nick Goodrich, Joey Presley, Jason Rhew and Keng Sinasa.
Memorials may be made to the Delta Childrens Home in Kennett or St. Jude Children's Hospital Research Department.
