Georgia Elizabeth Roper, 50, of Kennett, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at her residence.
Born May 13, 1959, in South Haven, Mich., daughter of the late Elbert and Geneiva Welker Gage, she was a homemaker and a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.
On Feb. 1, 1980, in Kennett, she married James Roper, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Joey Roper and Matthew Roper and wife, Sheila, all of Kennett; two daughters, Tabatha and Tiffany Roper, both of Kennett; one brother, Jerry Gage and wife, Della, of Kennett; one sister, Bonnie Tucker and husband, David, of Kennett; two grandchildren, Jonathan McNabb and wife, Jennifer, of Kennett and Brandon Rudd and wife, Nina, of Cardwell, Mo.; one great-grandchild, Makenzie McNabb, of Kennett, and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Lighthart.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Isbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
