Lanelle "Dolly" Gamble, of Senath, Mo., daughter of the late Edward T. Cagle and Hattie Arwood Cagle, was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Halls, Tenn., and departed this life Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at the age of 87, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Dolly married Thomas William "T.W." Gamble on Oct. 14, 1942, in Ripley, Tenn. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Cagle and Buddy Cagle.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Gamble and wife, Syble, of Kennett, Jim Gamble and wife, Anita, of Columbia, Mo., and Damon Gamble and wife, Tricia, of Farmington, Mo.; three daughters, Delane Tucker, of Senath, Debbie Ross and husband, Gene, of Kennett, and Lanelle Weaver and husband, Terry, of Rives, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley White, of Chesterfield, Mo., and Annie Lois Hilliard, of Halls, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Feb. 9, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Revs. Dale Rickman and Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Ryan Gamble, Jeff Gamble, John Gamble, Richie Shuburt, Keith Wilson, Aaron White, Josh Farrell and Michael Casey.
