Sister Anita (Bernard Anita) Flaugher, 98, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, died Feb. 5, 2010, at Mount Saint Joseph, in her 80th year of religious life.

A native of Fairfield, Ky., she ministered at St. Teresa Convent, Glennonville, (1940-1948), and in many other parishes and schools in the Diocese of Owensboro and the Archdiocese of Louisville. She was an educator for 44 years.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Freda Simpson of Bloomfield, Ky., nieces and nephews, and the members of her religious community.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Saint Joseph, where visitation will begin Sunday at 4 p.m., with a wake service following at 6:30 p.m.

Glenn Funeral Home of Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.
