A 41-year-old Senath, Mo., man was recently sentenced to seven years in the department of corrections and referred to an institutional treatment facility after being arrested on methamphetamine charges in Dec. 2009.

According to the Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Paul Cade appeared in court on Wed., Jan. 13, pleading guilty to the charge of manufacturing a controlled substance with intentions to distribute, a Class B felony.

Cade was sentenced to seven years in the department of corrections and 120-days at an institutional treatment facility.

According to the Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, if Cade does well at the treatment facility, he will be released on seven years supervised probation.

Cade was arrested in late December following a tip from Cardwell Police Department officer Jack Powell, who had received an anonymous tip regarding the home.

According to City Marshal Omar Karnes, he, along with Powell and Senath officer Jerad Callahan, arrived at the home and was invited into the residence.

Karnes said the officers then located the basic part of a methamphetamine lab sitting in the kitchen floor.

The items had been found in the utility room by a member of the house, who had moved it into the kitchen, Karnes noted.

Karnes said Cade was found outside the residence in a car cooking methamphetamine.

"We secured the lab," Karnes said, adding that Dunklin County Dispatch was contacted to have an agent with the Bootheel Drug Task Force attend the scene of the crime and help categorize the evidence.

Cade was arrested by the Senath Police Department as officials searched the home and removed all lab and meth material from the residence.

Dunklin County is a joke, you mean to tell me that Paul got 7 years ans 120 day shock, but they wont hand out the same sentences to the Miller's? I have a big problem with this, they were busted month's before this twice in 2 days to be excat , and I seen them out walking the streets yesterday !!!! There is something wrong with this whole issue !!!!! Please remember this when it is election time folks, we need some backbone around here.
