In other area games, Kennett defeated Malden 53-31 in another Bootheel Conference contest.
At Steele, Senath-Hornersville (8-5, 2-1 Bootheel) continued its recent hot play, racing out to a 40-9 lead at the half.
"I think we're starting to hit our stride," Senath-Hornersville coach Jamie Johnson said. "Our schedule is really, really tough in the first (part but) we're starting to play better. We've made some changes and adjustments and right now, we're playing good basketball."
The Lady Lions also won their second straight conference game as they continued a five-game swing against league foes.
"We really happy to get off to a good start in conference," said Johnson. "The girls are really playing well right now. We're looking forward to better things to come."
Seleena Neal led the way for Senath-Hornersville with 16 points, while Hannah Kennedy added 12, Megan Smith chipped in 11 and Jami Jackson finished with nine.
"She's really helping out right now," Johnson said of Jackson.
The Lady Lions also shot 81 percent (21-of-26) from the foul line.
Senath-Hornersville is off until next Thursday when it travels to Caruthersville for another Bootheel Conference tilt.
Kennett 53, Malden 31
At Malden, the Lady Indians shook off a 10-day layoff and took another step toward winning the Bootheel Conference's regular-season crown.
"We played hard tonight," Kennett coach Casey Bunting said. "The girls were intense and excited to be playing again. Everyone on the team put in some valuable minutes for the team tonight."
Kennett (10-3, 5-0) jumped out to a 16-4 lead after one period and led 28-9 at the half as it cruised to victory.
Jerica Wheeler led the way for the Lady Tribe with 14 points, while Caroline Shetley added eight points and Veronica Amos tossed in five. Amos also added nine rebounds while Shetley and Brittney Williams each pulled down six.
Latrilla McCoy paced Malden with 15 points.
Kennett hosts Campbell on Tuesday night and travels to South Pemiscot on February 1 to wrap up conference play.

The Bootheel Conference in girls' basketball is so weak that only Kennett and Senath have anything that resembles a basketball team.
