Rachel Dye

Rachel Nicole Dye, daughter of Michael Dye and Kimberly L. (Holt) Dye, was born July 16, 1991, at Blytheville, Ark., and departed this life on Jan. 8, 2010, at the age of 18 years, 5 months, and 23 days.

Survivors include her parents, Michael and Kimberly Dye of Kennett; one sister, Hillary Dye of Kennett; grandparents, Kenneth and Freida Dye of Kennett, Linda Holt of Kennett, and Tommie Holt of Dexter, Mo.; aunts and uncles Johnny and Cathy (Dye) Faulkner of Kennett, and Mike and Lisa (Holt) Baker, of Dexter; two cousins, Shea Baker of Dexter, and Logan Faulkner of Kennett; other relatives and many friends.

Rachel was a senior at Kennett High School.

Services were held at 2 p.m., today, Jan. 12, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Kennett with the Rev. Dustin Morris officiating and Patrick Ratliff as a guest speaker. Music was provided by Chris Kaiser and Laurel Jones.

Pallbearers include Elliot Wade, Matt Rainey, Divante Taylor, Louis Ceniceros, Trey Bazzell, and Billy Fender.

Honorary pallbearers include Karen Esquivel, Kayelyn Gillette, Chrissie Burrow, Katie Goebel, Rachel Henderson, Ashley Ingram, Cassie Barnes, Allyson Luce, Akeida Edmonson, and Courtney Greenfield.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
