Janet Annette King, 47, of Malden died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Paragould, Ark.
Born in Kennett on Sept. 22, 1962, she was the daughter of Margaret Ann (Parker) Allred and the late Charles Kenneth Allred. On Sept. 22, 1985, in Malden, she was united in marriage to John Paul King, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Amanda King of Malden; one son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Valarie King of Gideon; her mother, Margaret Allred of Malden; two sisters, Donna Lefler of Dexter and Jennifer Allred of Malden; one brother, Daniel Allred of Malden; 10 nieces and nephews and two great-nieces and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Allred, and grandparents, Henry and Gassam Baggett Allred and Ruben and Minne Kinder Parker.
Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 11, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tony Woods officiating. Interment was in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
