Troyce Ann Lomax, 80, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at the Cedargate in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Jan. 29, 1929, in Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Harry and Jewell Anderson Rollins, she was a retired secretary, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
On Oct. 24, 1952, in Holcomb, she married Billy Braden Lomax, who preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2008. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Rollins.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Lomax, of Sikeston, Mo., and Ron Lomax and wife, Karen, of O'Fallon, Mo.; two daughters, Luann Elledge and husband, Dave, and Lana Lomax, all of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren, Lauren Elledge Hasanov and husband, Zaur, Lyndsee Elledge and Luke Elledge, all of Poplar Bluff, and Braden Lomax, Kaylan Lomax and Kelsey Lomax, all of O'Fallon, and one great-grandchild, Samuel Hasanov.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff with Revs. Ron Lomax and Dave Elledge officiating.
Burial was in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo., was in charge of arrangements
