Frances Violet Foresythe, daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Craig Williamson, was born August 16, 1919, in Weona, Ark., and passed away at Heritage Gardens of Senath, Mo., on Dec. 29, 2009, at the age of 90 years.
She was married to James Edgar Miner in 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1947. She was married to Rivers G. Foresythe in 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1986.
She was a long time member of the Hornersville Baptist Church in Hornersville, Mo.
Survivors include; four sons, Ronnie J. Miner, of Cardwell, Mo., Kenny Foresythe, and wife Charla, of Hartville, Mo., Bub Foresythe, and wife Terri, of Hornersville, and Gary Foresythe of Las Vegas, Nev.; four daughters, Jerry Jean Cowgill, and husband Verline, of Coloma, Mich., Jimmie Ruth Miner, of Senath, Doris Miner, of Senath, and Patricia Miner of Senath; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Foresythe was preceded in death by one son, Larry Miner; one daughter, Martha Miner; four brothers, Buster, John, Dennis, and Don Williamson; three sisters, Gladys, Arly, Ruth, Snyder, and Marcella Wilbanks.
Visitation will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at the Hornersville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at the Hornersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will be held in the Lulu Cemetery near Senath.
Pallbearers include Josh Beasley, Terry Green, Randy Green, J. C. Roth, Gary Lee Foresythe, and Chad Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers include David Hanners, Lester Hunter, Bruce Miller, Mike James, and Marty Miller.
Memorials may be made to the Hornersville Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
