Sharon Rose Sills, 58, of Malden died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born in Gideon on Jan. 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Nelson) Allen. On Sept. 1, 1969, in Clarkton, she was united in marriage to Jerry Sills, who survives.
She was a bookkeeper for the Hank Watson Memorial Golf Course in Malden.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Sills of Malden; one son, Jeremy Sills of Malden; two daughters, Shari Hanner of Malden and Shelly Lane and husband, J.J., of Jackson; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Allen of Camdenton and Larry Allen of Clarkton; and two sisters, Mamie Johnson of Gideon and Bonnie Foley of Versailles, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marine Nash.
Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 20, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 21, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment was in the Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
