Odell Allison

Odell Allison, son of the late Luther and Vinelu Wilson Allison, was born July 21, 1926, and passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, in Salome, Ariz., after a short illness.

He was a bus driver for 42 years.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Peggy Allison, of Salome; one son, Michael Allison and wife, Juli, of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Kareena Jenkins and husband, Nick, of Missoula, Mont., and Michelle Messick and husband, Mike, of Diamond Bar, Calif.; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Leonard Allison, Norvie Allison and Lawrence Allison, and a sister, Aladine Allison Lancaster.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, in the McGrew Cemetery near Senath with Rev. Wesley Payne officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath is in charge of arrangements.
