Julia Palmer

Julia Pace Palmer, daughter of the late A.R. and Grace Thomas pace, was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Lena, Miss., and passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Ark., at the age of 82.

She married David C. Palmer, who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Earl Carter.

Survivors include one brother, Andy Pace, of Hattisburg, Miss.; two sisters, Bobbie Stovall, of Paragould, and Lynda Wyman, of Hattisburg; three nieces, Jennifer Cates, June Stovall and Beverla Stovall, all of Paragould, and a nephew, Chuck Grigsby.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Dr. Terry Wallace officiating.
