Donald Jackson

Donald Paul Jackson, son of William "Jack" Jackson and Margaret "Margie" Fox Jackson, was born Sept. 4, 1945 in Champaign, Ill., and departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Survivors include his father and mother, William "Jack" Jackson and Margie Jackson, of Kennett; one son, Matt Jackson and Roxanne Chailland, of Kennett; two daughters, Jamie Smith and Tony, of Kennett, and Jill and Jamie Grisham, of Waverly, Tenn.; one brother, Mike Jackson, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Dylan Potts, Deklin Moody, Abby and Kaley Grisham and Richard Chailland, and other relatives and many friends.

Don was co-owner of Jack's Electric in Kennett. Don served in the 1137th Military Police Company, was a member of the Kennett Jaycees and served on the Delta Fair Board.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with memorial services being held at 2 p.m., with Revs. Jim Pemberton and Dale Rickman officiating.
