Survivors include his father and mother, William "Jack" Jackson and Margie Jackson, of Kennett; one son, Matt Jackson and Roxanne Chailland, of Kennett; two daughters, Jamie Smith and Tony, of Kennett, and Jill and Jamie Grisham, of Waverly, Tenn.; one brother, Mike Jackson, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Dylan Potts, Deklin Moody, Abby and Kaley Grisham and Richard Chailland, and other relatives and many friends.
Don was co-owner of Jack's Electric in Kennett. Don served in the 1137th Military Police Company, was a member of the Kennett Jaycees and served on the Delta Fair Board.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with memorial services being held at 2 p.m., with Revs. Jim Pemberton and Dale Rickman officiating.
