Robert Shelton

Robert "Bob" Shelton, of Kennett, son of the late Allen David Shelton and Press Workman Shelton, was born Sept. 12, 1928 in Kennett, and departed this life on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 29 days.

Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie Wheatley and her husband, Clyde of Sikeston, Mo.; two grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with Rev. Jim Davis officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
