Louise Tucker

Louise Ange Tucker, daughter of the late Luke Barnes and Minnie Dearing Barnes, was born Nov. 18, 1921 in Kennett, and departed this life on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 at National Health Care in Kennett, at the age of 88 years.

Louise was a member of Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett

On Jan. 31, 1942, Louise married Darrell Tucker who preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Oval Barnes and two sisters, Mable Scallorns and Neva Elder.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Tucker Ernst, of Kennett; one brother, Bill Barnes, of Minnesota; one sister, Norma Bridgeman, of Benton, Ky., and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dale Rickman and Jason Bowen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Keith Seymore, Stephen Tuller, Danny Poole, Donnie Brooks, Otis Wake and Walter Dearing.
