Agnes Susan Blake, 89, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Malden.
Born July 9, 1920, in Malden, daughter of the late John and Minnie Ola Rootz Shelton, she was a sales clerk for Stovalls Department Store, and of the General Baptist faith.
On Nov. 12, 1941, in Malden, she married Jessie Truman Blake, who preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1960. She was also preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one son Denny Blake and wife, Linda, of Malden; one grandson, Robert Blake and wife, Amy, of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, David Shelton, of Dexter, Mo., and Russell Shelton, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and one sister, Rosie Allen, of Bloomfield, Mo.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susan Marner-Sides officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
