Willow Dean Rushing, daughter of the late Ernest and Frankie Reagan Barrow, was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Cardwell, Mo., and passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 81.
On June 1, 1946, in Paragould, Ark., she married Robert Rushing, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Dean Rushing and two sisters, Reberta Kelley and Winona Moutrie.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Ray Rushing, of Senath, Mo.; two daughters, Renee Gentry and husband, Gerald, of Senath, and Debbie Miller and husband, Marty, of Senath; one brother, Jerry Barrow, of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Maggie Boals, of West Memphis, Ark., and Shirley Montgomery, of Enterprise, Ala.; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at the First Baptist Church in Senath.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Revs. Doug Clinton and Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Bobby Rushing, Robert Rushing, Mark Miller, Marty Miller, Stephen Rushing, Gerald Gentry III, and Gerald Gentry.
McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath is in charge of arrangements.
