Freida Mae Jackson, daughter of the late Andy and Bertha Pruett Dalton, was born May 5, 1927, in Senath, Mo., and passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 82.
On Jan. 30, 1943, in Paragould, Ark., she married Homer Jackson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1980. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Jackson; two brothers, Deward and Sandy Dalton; three sisters, Bonnie Ivy, Flucie Temple and Irene Williams, and a granddaughter, Katrina Lancaster.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Jackson and wife, De'Ellen, of Lafe, Ark., and Dwight Jackson and wife, Holly, of Weiner, Ark.; two daughters, Rita Kasey and husband, Larry, of Sun City West, Ariz., and Carolyn Jackson, of Cardwell, Mo.; five grandsons; seven granddaughters; numerous great-grandchildren and many other relatives friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 1, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert Burgess, Mitch Skelton, Tracy Perkins, Dwayne Bateman, Jimmy Lowe and Eddie Quinn.
