Aleigha Simmons

Teddy and Tonia Simmons announce the birth of their daughter, Aleigha LuAnn Simmons, born Nov. 8, 2009, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She weighed 6 pounds and 1 ounce and was 18 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Quinton and Cindy Anthony and the late Kathy and Willie Simmons, all of Kennett, and the great-granddaughter of Ailene Anthony of Kennett and Ann Wilson of Senath, Mo.
