Jimmy Carter, 67, of Kennett passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Son of the late James Carter and Dessie (Wallace) Carter, he was born Nov. 14, 1942 in Kennett
Jimmy married Sheila Jackson on May 25, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Carter, of Kennett; three sons, Matthew Stevens, of Kennett; Adam Stevens, of Kennett, and Tyler Daily, of Kennett; one granddaughter, Alexis Stevens, of Springfield, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Phillip Bartholemew officiating.
Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery at Gypsie, Mo.
Pallbearers are Brandon Carter, Chuck Cotten, Norvel Canden, Ronnie Moore,
Michael Wayne Dowdy and Harry Gattis.
Honorary pallbearers are Matt and Adam Stevens, Tyler Daily and Paul Hendrix.
