Funeral services for Jack Robert "Bob" Culpepper will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at the East Side Church of Christ in Snyder, Texas with Mr. Steve Barrett, officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home in Snyder.

Mr. Culpepper died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, near Pindale, Wyo., after a sudden illness.

He was born Dec. 10, 1954, in Waxahachie, Texas. He was grew up in Hillsboro and graduated from high school there.

He married Lana Shaw on July 28, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Mr. Culpepper was a member of East Side Church of Christ and lived in Snyder since 2004, moving from Sagerton where he was involved in ginning, cotton compress and the family cotton business. He was employed by Patterson-UTI Energy as a truck driver and was on the job at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, A. C. "Cully" Culpepper; a brother-in-law, Todd Shaw, and a sister-in-law, Debbie Shaw.

Survivors include his wife, Lana Culpepper, of Snyder, Texas; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rob Culpepper, of Russelville, Ark., and Richie and Pam Culpepper, of Haskell, Texas; his mother, Annette Culpepper, of Kennett; a brother and sister-in-law, Art and Charlotte Culpepper, of Stamford; a step-daughter, Laci Standefer, of Snyder, Texas; a step-son, Brady Standefer, of Stephenville, Texas; a grandson, Ryker, and his mother and father-in-law, Curtis and Elsie Shaw, of Colorado City.

Visitation will be from 6 p.n. to 7 p.m.,Thursday, Nov. 19, at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home in Snyder.
