Daily Dunklin Democrat: Letter to the Editor: An example to follow... (11/13/09)

Today Leonard Younger moved from his home in Kennett to his home with God.

There was a warm greeting by all of Leonard's friends that arrived before him and a special hug from Virgie.

Men can be an example to follow because of their actions or they can just be examples. Leonard stood out in our community as a man that could always be counted on when something for the Church or Community needed done. Do you know of anyone that refused to buy a ticket for an event from Leonard... I never did!

Kennett won't be the same with Leonard and if you did not have the opportunity to know him, you missed knowing a truly good man.

Our question is, will you or I take Leonard's place in our Community? It would be my wish that as a final tribute to Leonard we all tried to be just a little more like our good friend that has moved.
