According to a report by the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department, Dunklin County Communications received information of the missing man at approximately 9:22 p.m., on November 10.
This information, presented to the department explained that Dickie Graves, 46, of Kennett, had been missing from his residence since the evening hours of November 7.
The missing person search ended at approximately 10 a.m., on November 11, as family members of Graves located his body on the Varner river ditch bank, which is approximately one-half mile from his residence, according to the department's report.
Upon the discovery, Dunklin County Sheriff's Department personnel were called to the scene, along with the Dunklin County Coroner.
Officials noted that no foul play was suspected and that Graves had a history of health problems.
The body was removed from the scene by the Dunklin County Coroner, with assistance from the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department personnel.
