The Missouri Highway Patrol and Senath Volunteer Fire Department responded to an accident on N Highway regarding a rolled box truck that was on fire on Friday afternoon.
The vehicle was headed west on N Highway, located East of Route C and County Road 463, according to officials.
The report shows that the driver of the vehicle looked down to check the speedometer when he ran the truck off the right side of the road. The driver then attempted to come back onto the road, but over-corrected, running off the left side of the highway, officials noted.
The vehicle overturned when running off of the highway and emerged into flames.
The Senath Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire, and assist the two occupants of the vehicle.
Following the accident, both occupants were declared to have no apparent injuries, according to officials.
