This Ford Explorer was involved in an accident with a Buick Park Avenue at the intersection of Kennett and Seventh Streets. In the collission the door of the Ford Explorer was ripped from the passenger side of the vehicle.

Six children and three adults were involved in an accident occurring at the intersection of Kennett and Seventh Streets on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred as a 1998 Buick Park Avenue, driven by Norma Kelley, of Kennett, traveling West on Seventh Street, pulled into the path of a 2002 Ford Explorer, driven by Sharia Taylor, of Kennett. During the collision, the rear passenger door of the Ford Explorer was ripped from the frame of the vehicle.
The Ford Explorer contained seven passengers consisting of six children and an adult driver who were check by first responders for injuries and all declined medical treatment. According to police, the children, nor the adult appeared to be injured as a result of the collision.
Kelley was also checked and had no apparent injuries, according to the Kennett Police Department.
Investigating officer, Mark Dennis, noted that Taylor will be receiving a summons for Driving While Suspended and for five counts of No Child Restraints.
