Risco's Burnett named tops in Tri-County

Risco senior Brittney Burnett was named the Tri-County Conference's Player of the Year in volleyball on the league's all-conference team for this fall.

She is joined on the first team by Cooter's Ashley Poe, Tia Mitchell of Holcomb, Darcy McMinn from Southland, Lori Gribble of Gideon and Clarkton's Jessica Coleman.

Cooter, Gideon and Delta C7 shared the regular season Tri-County title, while Cooter won the conference tournament.
